Listen to your teenage self.. life is full of exciting things to come but you have to make it... be honest, brown eyes is not the excitement you really crave for... take away the alchohol element... is he worth the 'messing on you own doorstep' roulette? more…

You 2 obviously 'click' together. Perhaps you attract the more mature guy (not necessarily mature as in age but maturity in attitude and personality) unfortunately they are not often single. more…

Hello!
I appologize to this comment. I am writing it representing a group of 4 Portuguese students of Management who are doing their MSc thesis about wine, particularly Port Wine.
We would like to ask your help, completing, if is it possible, our survey about this kind of Wine. Your help will be crucial for us.

Hey - don't worry too much about the morality of it, you're just a girl, if he wants to cheat its his perogative, as long as you don't get attached...and as long as he doesn't...
You will one day morph into girlfriend material, the way I find myself morphing into housewife material - I love cooking and cleaning these days.

Well at least you know that you are not girlfriend material, which may save a lot of time in the long run.
If more people could discover what sort of person they really are and just accept it there may be more happines in the world.
And less Therapists.....
Which could only be a good thing. more…

He could have had the Chlamydia for years as there are seldom symptoms in a man, however he sounds like a total fanny and I agree she would be well rid.
How the hell did he give her worms...no maybe you better not tell me. more…

Whoa!! He's given her worms and chlamydia?!!! What more proof does she need that he's a cheating bully? Poor thing... Her self esteem must be very low. And from what you say classic Father Figure syndrome. Try to make her see sense about this situation before he gives her herpes or worse still AID's... more…

Have to admit, I had people telling me left, right and centre that I was dating a tosser and I'd agree but then he'd turn up on the doorstep and I'd get butterflies and lose any resolve I'd had to finish with him. I came round in my own time but it took a lot of my friends chipping away at me! I have my fingers crossed that she's shot of him soon more…

Hey thanks but I've already tried the 'mature'talk thing. She agrees he's a shit, then 24 hours later she's back in his arms. It's weird, we lost our Dad 10 years ago and ever since she's always been really needy for male attention and I'm the one who pulls away from them. Bloody life eh? lol x more…

I agree - tough love. I've been treated like crap by a bloke before and it was neediness not love. Thankfull, I think I deserve better now! Can't you get her to sit down and write a list of his positive and negative points? Maybe if the negative points outweigh the positives, she'll have a rethink.... more…

I swing between feeling the same as you to feeling the complete opposite! I have my reasons I guess for being so indecisive on the whole "do I really want to be in a relationship?" thing but I have been on the receiving end of that look many times!
I have so much more freedom than my parent friends - why would I give that up? And I'm more…

Don't worry, I know what you're saying. I'm too damn fussy anyway. I'm one of 'those' people who won't settle for second best comfort and I'd much rather be single than in a bad relationship. Just having a little rant - makes you feel so much better lol! more…

The idea of needing company hits people at different ages. Some people just can't stand to be alone and others could care less. I wouldn't worry about being alone. When you are comfortable with yourself the right person will come along. Just don't try to rush it or you'll end up making mistakes, trust me.
